You could say that granite, quartz and marble have been around since time
immemorial.
Granite and quartz with their origins in ancient volcanic rock and marble with
its beginnings as the remains of tiny sea snails and other creatures dating
back millions of years.
The Ancient Egyptians were using granite as long ago as 800 years BC, and
the Greeks were amongst the first to recognise the potential of marble. But it
was the Romans that realised the aesthetic potential of using natural stone as a
building material, gathering coloured stones from many countries as a way of
expressing their global domination.
Today we provide granite, quartz or marble in endless styles and colourways.
But, of course, part of the intrinsic beauty of these natural products is in the
